Hi,

Some times I get emails like this:

your validation link keeps coming up invalid. If you would like me to use your page. then make it work properly. Thanks.

if users click submit (login area) before validation email they have problems trying to login the site.

I think there is something to fix.

The validation email is sent when they register. If they then try to login they have the option of sending a new validation which may be what they are doing. By having it resent the original one will not work.

Yes, I think this part is not clear to users, so they see the usename and the password in the login area and click submit without read what it says above. They got the error and because they almost never read, keep it up trying to login.

Do you think is something to change here, maybe show the message but not show the login area (username and password)

Here's a tip that I use. In the registration email, I simply state that this is one of two emails that they will receive. The second email is a validation email that they must use and click on the validation link in order to activate their account.

I also state that if they do not receive this second email, to please check their spam folder. They can also attempt to log in to the site and if they have not validated their account they will be presented with a link that they can use to have the validation email resent.

I have not received one report of issues with the process since implementing this.
