Over the last couple of days I have been working on code and css validation. It is a bit of an eye openner to our coding

Good job with the validation. I am not sure if you use Firefox or not but I use the web developer toolbar extension daily and helps tremendously and has a quick link to validate the site.

I have it stalled for checking. I will have a look for the toolbar

What platform are you on, it says it is not available for windows

edit, I i downloaded to total validator
