After the script is installed I got a message that said:

Everything installed successfully!

Please delete the setup directory and change the chmod settings on Connections/classifieds.php to 755!

So I deleted the upload folder (under the setup folder) and tried to change the permissions to 755 but go the following error message

/home/pepperd/public_html/setup/upload/Connections/classifieds.php chmod failed: Operation not permitted in /home/pepperd/public_html/setup/upload/Connections

The admin control panel works but I did have a message at the top to delete the setup folder.

Thanks in advance for any help. I'm sure it's something simple I'm just not getting....

That message may need to be changed since the connections file is auto written it should have the correct permissions.

However you should delete the setup directory.

Sorry if this is off subject, but this is a handy little piece of htaccess to drop into the connections folder to protect your password.
