Free Ads Not Working Properly ?

Have listing products that are $0 charge and sometimes the ads don't go through..when I look them up in the admin panel, it shows pending payment or pending approval. Any idea what may be causing this ?

I know there were other people having this same problem or something similar. Cant seem to find the post though. Are you going to be upgrading to v4.0.1 that might solve your issues.

This was a bug in v4.0.0 I would recommend upgrading to v4.0.1 and it should fix this.

I had that problem with 4.0 but 4.01 which I just installed an hour ago or so seems to have fixed it or at least it has for me. The problem now though is different. My thank you page now puts this error at the top but the advert does get automatically activated.

I am lost having only used 68C for 3 days or so.

I have set up a free coupon called free-listing-on-fpc . If someone could try putting up a listing for me on my site I would be grateful - french property or if somebody knowswhat the problem is I would be grateful.

I havent upgraded yet so I cant see the code, but your problem is here

the free-listing-on-fpc should be inside '' such as ='free-listing-on-fpc'

Try giving the coupon a number and not text.

I'm having the same problem.
But my suspicion is the user didn't finish the whole "Place an Ad" process.
I placed a highlighted text that says "Please click Finish to activate your ads".

This lessened the problem, but there are still a few that doesn't get activated.

Thanks Maffo - making a number for the coupon seems to have sold the issue. I do not get an error on the thanyou page now.

That is indeed a bug. I had it coded to accept only integers and should accept text. This will be fixed in v4.0.2
