Default Localhost and 68classifieds

What version of 68 Classifieds are you running?
Example: V4.1.6 Designer

What template are you using?

Please describe in detail the issue you are having:

version 4.01

I installed 68classiefieds to a localhost with Xampp, just to practice.
But when I uploaded it to my remote host the links do not work anymore.
main page however is visible.

So if I try login I get this: http://localhost/xampp/public_html/vdhmp/login.php

vdhmp is my directory where 68class is installed.
I modified the db name, user, password etc. in classifieds.php.
Is there some other file(s) I need to change ?

Henry

You should login to your customer account and download the latest version of 68 Classifieds and re-install your software.

Hi,

Thanks for quick response. I will do that later.

Trying to fix this first incase I encounter the same problem with latest update.

Isn't it normal to first install it locally, test it, and when all is set migrate to a domain in the internet ?
Isn''t there some manual available on how to accomplish that?

And the question was how to get rid of the local domain links once it is installed on the internet in another domain. It must be some configuration file that I overlooked.

4.0.1 is a couple years so your going to have a hard time fining anyone here to give you support on it. Additionally if your worried about "bugs", 4.0.1 has a very bad security bug in it so your wasting your time using it all all.
