Default Upgrading from 4.1.2 to 4.1.3 in localhost

Hi there,

I would like to upgrade from 4.1.2 to 4.1.3 and after reading the documentation I don't understand why I should have to overwrite all the previous fies if there is just a few which have changed?!...or maybe I probably not understood the meaning of the text explanations.

My site is not yet hosted by any server and I am running it on localhost (xampp).

I have as well done some changes and if I overwrite the files this way that means that I would have to change again so I don't understand again why overwriting all the files.

If I just overwrite the old files by the new files with the new change-codes, is that giving the same result or do I have this way to add or to do something else to make the upgrade effective?

Thanks for your help

Technically speaking you do only have to upload the files that have changed.

Yes only write over the files which are given in changelog.txt but two very important things.

1. make sure you keep any changes you may have made (always document your code clearly) and keep your own changelog file when you do things.
2. Even more importantly, you should still run the upgrade script supplied by 68C because it may be modifying the database set up. You will notice if you do not do that, your 68C panel will not be showing the correct version even though you have uploaded the files.
