Please describe in detail the issue you are having:

Hi

Searching the forums, i have found information on how to either turn of the price field or not make it mandatory (for free items) across all categories, but i was wondering if it is at all possible to make the price field mandatory for some categories, but not appear in others?

Playing around, I tried inserting a new field named price, but the original proce field reads $0.00, which throws everything out.

Basically, i want one of my categories to be a business listing, which does not require a price field???

you can try the custom category mod. Or Set the price field required for all and then just use smarty logic (outlined many times on forum) to check the category your in and selectivly hid the field if desired.

When I go to Classifiedmods.com and select the custom category mod, it leads me to a 404 - Page not found.

Is there a link or somewhere to get access to this mod?
