Default Couple of questions

Greetings,

I'm going to run a classifieds service, targeted on PC and PC components, peripherals and services mainly and before I make the decision to buy your script (which I like very much based on demo), need to clarify some aspects.

1. This service will use Georgian language, UTF-8. Does engine supports a full language customization?

2. Are language files located in one file or they are scattered throughout the various files?

3. Is it possible to obtain demo/trial/whatever version of the script in order to upload and test translated language files and see how they appear and work? Or maybe 68 Classifieds tech. team could send me one lang file, I will translate, will send them back, they will upload and let me see, how it will work/appear.

Thank you in advance,

Ronny.

Hi,

The language file is one file and all strings are present in this file. The exception is if you use modules. Normally, these will have their strings in a single language file. UTF-8 should be fine but testing is a good idea.

I believe 68C have a money back guarantee. I believe this is published on their site.

Thank you very much for your answer. I'm going for one of your templates after I test&buy the engine .

One more question: Does anybody has an experience with 68 on dreamhost? Can ioncube be installed there?

I know we have done some installs of Ioncube on Dreamhost but I would recommend submitting a ticket to use as Blair normally handles those and he can confirm.

Thanks for your answer.

One more and most probably the last: Is it possible to disable online payment system and the subscription package option everywhere in the engine ( not shown on the site, as well as in parameters/settings and during the registration, also during creating the ad), as if I want to make old school classifieds service, where seller meets buyer and they negotiate further details through PM system?

Yes you can disable the payment providers and just offer free adverts if that is your intention. You just create packages which are free.

As for removing the payment providers from showing in TemplateCodes it is 2 seconds to do that by dragging and dropping that block into the disable area using the templatezones module or in general you can just not install/unistall the module.
