Hi. About a year and half ago I posted a question here if it is possible to post a garage sales with NO PRICE field and make them searchable by zipcode.
Back then it was not possible...So i am checking back to see if it is now.
Coupld you please confirm weather it is or it is not?

The answer to both your questions is yes. There is a zipcode module and a location filter as well which both might be of interest. You will find a list of available modules etc here

But is it possible to configure the script not to post "price" field ??

The answer to both your questions is YES. You can suppress the price filed in a number of ways.
