Hello, I'm currently thinking about switching classified ad software on my website with yours. I've had your website bookmarked for a few years now, just still dragging on about making the switch. But have a few questions, and probably more in the future as I play around with the demo.

I noticed in this post -
recurring payments

you said that the website will automatically send the user a expiration notice, but I don't see the email template editable in the "Modify Emails" section in admin. Will this template have to be edited through FTP?


One other question. How does the site prioritize which listings show up first in a certain category? I understand featured listings show up first, but what if you have 50 regular listings in one category? The problem I'm having on my current classifieds software is that it shows newest listings first. Therefore, the adds that have been listed on the site for the past 3 years are on the 10th or so page. I guess what I'm looking for is some kind of process that randomly prioritizes listings, so one day a listing will show up on the first page, and the next day the same listing will show up on the last page - so that all paying user's ads are equally displayed.

You edit the renewal email under the renewals link.

For listings, under "search settings" you can chose which field to sort by and if you wanted it sorted ascending or descending.
