Default May I use 68classifieds into another script?

Hi,

(I am running version 4.1.2 with default template)

I would like to integrate 68classifieds in a social network script (which use smarty as well). In that script, I would like for example to add a link "Classifieds" in the menu which will display the 68classifieds home page and allow users to place their ads.

I there any technical inconvenience to do that?

As both scripts are using a different data base, is this a problem?

The users will register on the social network but will they be obliged to register as well on 68classifieds to put their ads or it is possible techniquely they register just once. In that case, with the two administration could it be a problem?

I am just studying the possibilty to mix these two scripts and I would like to have your opinion, thank you.

Integrating two scripts is usually not a problem. But people seem to take integration differently. For example on our 68 Classifieds site we have several scripts: shopping cart, blog, wiki, and forums. They have been designed to match each other but the actual users are not tied together. So doing this it was as a simple as making the html match each other.

Thank you for your quick answer.

So, if I well understand, one user registered on the social network will register as well on 68classifieds if he wants to post ads, that's it?

Yes that would be the simplest integration.

OK, thank you.

If I prefer they register just once for the whole site, that is to say, to be registered to use the social network functions and the 68classifieds functions in the same time, the way to implement that is to create an independent third admin function to administrate the registration or there is another way?
