Default Keywords database size

For future versions, is it possible you can increase the default 255 varchar size to 600 or so, for the keywords field.

As its normaly recommended to have no more then 1024 characters and no less then 600 (including spaces), for the keyword meta tag field. Currently you can only input 255 characters.

Thanks

I cant comment on weather or not it will be changed, but in the mean times If you would like to add some additional meta info you are not limited to doing so in admin. You can manually add it to the layout.tpl.php file also.

When you add keywords through the admin, it only keeps 250 characters. At least thats the problem I was having. So I had to increase it, through the database. But hey I could be wrong.

Yep, I understand what your goal was. I was just commenting that you could manually add the meta text in the template also. This can be in place of the database entered info or in addition to it.
