Can you ban gmail users from registering?

Of course, just about anything is possible. What you are suggesting would mean that you would either have to modify a core.php file or create a module to do it. Modules are usually much better as they wouldn't disrupt future updates/upgrades of 68 Classifieds.

I did the opposite of what you are saying in a module that only allowed the admin entered domains to register. I would caution against not allowing gmail accounts however as there are literally millions of gmail users and the numbers are only getting larger.

Well I agree that there may be users that are legit, but in my experience 99% of them are nothing more than spammers. the last 50 Gmail accounts that registered only wanted to spam for some job in Iran. Promising jobs that pay 50k USD.

Is there already a module to disallow ?
