Default Change Listing Category

When I try to change a listings "category" through admin, it's not keeping the change. Gives me the dropdown list to change it. Shows the green check mark as if it's OK, but then doesn't keep the change after clicking the save button.

Can this not be changed?

Thanks.

Does the ad package originally used to place the ad allow the ad to be placed in the category where you are trying to place it?

Does the target category allow ads?

The target category does allow ads, and the two categories are both listed under the listing package selected. I just went into my admin to check this. I also checked to make sure that the category I wanted to switch to was active and allowed ads to be placed into it, and it does.

I just checked and you should be able to change the category from admin. Have you altered any of the php files?

No Eric, I haven't changed any of the php files or templates in the admin directories. Also, I just went into admin and no matter what listing I try to change, it won't let me change the category. Anything else I can change. It acts like it's going to work, but fails to make the changes each time.

Could you indicate what file(s) makes this happen for the admin.

Thanks.

Why not upload your admin folder again and even better upgrade your 68C site altogether. If you have not changed core files this should be a walk in the park.

David, I uploaded the entire administration folder that came with the 4.1.5 developer version and nothing changed. Thank you for your suggestion. I'll just make the changes in the database itself. That's just as easy.

Appreciate everyone's help.
