What version of 68 Classifieds are you running?
V4.1.6 Developer

What template are you using? Default


Please describe in detail the issue you are having: When I (admin) modify a listing, the extra field values are displayed in the correct order and correct alignment. (as shown in screen shot (1).... but if I change the category for the listing (the new category still has the same extra fields as the old category), the extra field alignments get our of order and the tick values disappear resetting all check-box values (see screen shot (2).... this increases the chances of loosing the users selections. How can I avoid this and maintain the original order and values ticked even if category is changed?

extra fields are category specific and use a pretty complex multi database table method of tracking and linking them to categories. With that in mind I dont the code is in place to check for and migrate extra field data when an ad is moved from one category to another.

I notice that it is the checkbox values that are messed up.
is it possible to maintain the order and the alignment of the fields (even if the values are reset) ?

I think the only way is to try. As Larry says I doubt that migration can be performed automatically as extra fields are tied to categories. They are not ad specific nor do they have global scope.
