Selected category name in step 2

I would like the category name selected in step 1 appears in step 2 during the checkout.

Is anyone can help me for that code please, thank you

Basically you should use the debug function to see if this variable is available to that template file and if it is you can display it. There are numerous posts on the forum about debug and how to use it.

The only one available is {$category} and just displays the category number.

Well if the category ID is available and you do not have too many categories then Smarty is your friend. Just do a set of tests on the value of the ID and display the appropriate category name. Alternatively you could do it in the checkout.php file with a nice switch statement.

there is a few ways it could be done but you will need to modify code if you dont want to use template logic OR what I would do is just make a plugin that queries the db using the catid to get the name.
