Default Placing image/ad on one category page only

Hi! My client wants to add an image/ad to one of his four category pages. I just wondered if there is a way to achieve this, ie perhaps using 'if' and 'else' or is it something a bit more complicated than that?!

Any help/guidance would be much appreciated! Thanks!

I am not sure I follow exactly but inside administration when you edit a category it has a field for "Promotional Category Text". Inside this you could add your image code and it will display when viewing that particular category.

Hi Eric! That's perfect - just what I wanted!! Some things are easier than I think - I'm always looking for the hard way to fix things!

Great - thanks for you reply!

Maybe you can give me an example, thank you (I am running v 4.1.2 default template)

Hmmm, I too tried this and it appears as though any HTML elements are stripped out and not added to the database.

I then tried using <file/path/to/image> which does add it to the db, but displays the HTML entity as text:
HTML Code:
<img src="file/path/to/image">
instead of the image. If you then go back into admin to edit the category, it displays it as above and if you submit blanks out the field and writes nothing to the field in the db again. :-(

This appears to be a bug. I will try to track this down further so I can report it.
