Default placing a video on my about us page or the home page??

How would i go about placing a video on the home page or the about us page? I would like to put in the embed code from youtube but i cant get it to be centered and it looks stupid because it only wants to go either on the bottom of the page or on the very top. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Thanks

Center it using styles inline or with CSS. As far as it going to the top or the bottom of the page, I would ask where you are putting your code? I'd put it in the home.tpl file if it were me.

Mike,
What is inline style? I am googling right now but i just though i would ask. How would i modify/change/edit it? is it a code that i write myself?

so i just found this inline style code
<p style="color: red; margin-left: 20px">
This is a paragraph
</p>

I am not sure how to utilize it, could you break it down a bit for me? I swear i am html ignorant.

On a different note, how would i add a forums or testimonial section to the website?

inline css or style simply means the CSS is inside the html element.

in your above example <p> </p> is HTML markup for a paragrapgh.

This bit after it.....

style="color: red; margin-left: 20px

is the CSS that tells the paragraph how to behave.

Honestly, if you're going to work on modifying your own website, then you need to NOT be html ignorant. I'm not trying to be bullish here, but you really need to take the time to at least learn the basics. You can go through the html tutorials in just a couple of hours. It will be well worth it.
