Default images not showing up/ ad listings not showing up

1. I just upgraded from designer to developer edition. everything seems to be working fine but some images are not showing up on the admin section and the front page. for instance, on the front page of thebusinessclassifieds.com the folder is missing nexto to the "test" category.

2. I created a test ad, I received an email saying that the posting has been placed but it's not showing up when I do a search.

I checked your site. The link to the image is correct, so that would lead me to believe that either a) the image isn't there or b) that image file is corrupted.

Try uploading to your server again, since you just upgraded. I think that somehow some of the files may have been corrupted. It happens.

Check in admin and make sure the ad is set to be active. And make sure that the expiration date is a date in the future.

Thanks Larry, now it's working.

As for the images not showing up, I uploaded all the files again using filezilla and the images were still not showing up. I experimented with a few images and reuploaded them using a webased ftp and the images started to show up. I thought that was kind of weird. lol. I gave it another try and and uploaded all the files again through filezilla. Some of the images started to show up, but only the ones I uploaded via the webased ftp during my experiment.

It sounds like Filezilla may be trying to transfer your images in the wrong mode. You might want to try setting the mode to binary for the images.
