Default Admin Error

I set up a new user as a member of the admin group - upon login they get this error on the "login successful" screen:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in ../public_html/includes/classes/kernel/Login.php on line 184

The user is still forwarded to admin, but only the "dashboard" tab is available, everything else is missing. I took a quick look at line 184, but didn't notice anything obvious (to me).

Has anyone else come across this problem?

I haven't seen this however can you double check that users settings. Specifically the "Administration Capabilities" section when you edit the user. Make sure some of the boxes are checked.

Since posting I did some further research on this and it is a bug. The fix would be to edit the user and add the capabilities as outlined.

I have made a fix that will be available in the next release so these display when adding a new user. Currently you have to go back and modify a user before they are seen.

I got this error when I first installed ver4 and then added a new admin. I didn't know it was a bug, I thought I had just screwed something up so I uploaded the setup folder again and re-set it up and it worked again. But good find on the bug!

Yes, checking at least one admin capability box cleared the error message. I was in such a rush when I set up the account I didn't think to assign or even check privileges. Oh well, super-easy fix and his account is working great now. Thanks!

I don't understand how and where to check Admin capabilities if when I login the user administration is not available!
On the database I can find this string under AdminCapabilities:
a:6:{i:0;s:8:"listings";i:1;s:6:"orders";i:2;s:5:" users";i:3;s:8:"category";i:4;s:7:"payment";i:5;s: 8:"settings";}

It's possible to check here the capability, but how?

If you have access to the database you can add this line which is all the capabilities:
a:6:{i:0;s:8:"listings";i:1;s:6:"orders";i:2;s:5:" users";i:3;s:8:"category";i:4;s:7:"payment";i:5;s: 8:"settings";}
