item reoutputted on rss after listing is renewed

Please describe in detail the issue you are having:
Hi Guys,

Just a quick one. We all have the ability to output an rss feed using the external.php file which is cool and does well in adding items to twitter etc.
But given that not everyone sells their items first time round if a person clicks on RENEW when their ad is close to expiring ive noticed that the ad is not outputted again via rss and neither is it classed as a new ad.

I am guessing that this has something to do with the date entered into the db on when the document was first created. Is there anyway we could edit the code slightly to update this date so that the item is again outputted on the rss feed, shown on latest items etc

One requirement would be that this ONLY happens when a user follows the renew method and not the "Modify" button.
