Google Analytic Tracking Code Problem.

I have activated my google analytics account. To track the pages I have copied the code provided by google analytic account & then paste it onto every page I want to track immediately before the </body> tag. I have pasted the analytic code just above the </body> tag in layout.tpl file of Evo-Blue template as I am using Evo-blue style template. When I uploaded the edited layout.tpl file onto the server and tried viewing the site Textilenow.com - Online Textile Marketplace for Textile, Embroidery, Saree, Dress, Jari, Yarn, Weaver & Machinery It was not opening & showing a fatal error. So, I have to remove analytic code from layout.tpl file in evo-blue template and everything was alright. I have also added the code in layout.tpl file of default template just before </body>. But the same thing happens ... after adding the code when i try to access the site Textilenow.com - Online Textile Marketplace for Textile, Embroidery, Saree, Dress, Jari, Yarn, Weaver & Machinery it says fatal error. Can anyone help me on this issue. I want to add this tracking code anyhow without any errors. Please Help.
