It has been accepted and the organisation will be running with it before the end of June. Interestingly, the 10,000+ memberships offered has blown away a few - they love it and know it will work but just too many. They are now taking about 1,000 to 2,000 memberships initially. We will then look at this again once these are sold to determine the future of the fundraising offer. We may wish to continue this or we may wish to not continue this.

Have also received referrals to particular people in other hosptals in other towns/cities who would be very interested in the proposal. Working through these now.

So all is progressing very, very well (to date).

OK - confirming Hospital #1 has accepted 2,000 memberships (rather than 1,000) to resell as a fundraiser. Hospital #2 and #3 still looking at the offer.

What to do now:
1. Rewrite the terms and conditions of the offer and have Hospital #1 sign off on these.

2. Complete the design of the electronic version of the actual vouchers. They will print these themselves. The vouchers need to include (a) What our site is all about (b) What the voucher is all about and its benefits (c) What the fundraiser is all about (d) How to 'activate' the voucher and (e) URL to FAQ page.

[21st June - COMPLETED: However we are now calling these 'vouchers', flyers.]

3. Need to design an install script that will add our 2000 membership coupons numbers in the 68 classifieds database.

4. Need to then print off a few vouchers using mail merge to add the individual coupon numbers to the actual vouchers. The software and technique used can then be forwarded to Hosiptal #1 so they can begin printing their vouchers.

.... are these to be used on your gotodetails.com site or another site?

What format will you using to forward the coupons on to the hospital ...word, PDF? or is that determined by the user via the software you mentioned earlier?

If you have something that makes pdfs you can just create an output of those coupons and print to pdf, then just send them the pdf. All that is needed is the design so you can position the coupon numbers.

Sleepy - FYI - there is a module coming for this.

Well I had good intentions but other things got in the way. However, here is the 'draft' flyer.

Just an update - nothing has been happening with this (with the organisation who are running with it) since 20th June - the person I am dealing with has been away from work (very ill father). They are planning to return this Monday coming. So hopefully some progress on the project next week.
