Perfectly true, life does have a gamble. The nly point I was trying to make was about the sites functionality. I mean as an example, you buy a Dyson hoover for $300 say, and you can only empty the hoover if dyson are able to contact you. Well your mobile is broke and your phone lines on the blink, but the hoover is full and you have paid the purchase price, so by all intents and purposes the equipment is yours whilst the technology remains that of dyson, and you should have complete and full use of the hoover irrespective of if they could contact you or not.
Poor example I know, but that is what my argument is

I am not denying the fact that the technology needs protecting it is Erics right to, I was merely saying that we are then at the mercy of a company and even the best companies in the world get caught out leaving customers seriously unhappy
On the flip side if the site stays functional but the admin end does not then things arent as bad, unless you have some cons or scam posts that need sorting.
I think the best thing to do is trail it out, it comes with a 14 day money back guarantee so this would give me a chance to test it and actually look at the templating structure...
