I'm new to 68 Classifieds and have the following questions:-

1) If I buy a Hosted package and an Installation package, will 68 Classifeds effectively set everything up for me, apart from populating the site content obviously?
I have very little experience with PHP.

2) Does the Hosted package include the requirements listed on the 68 C website:-
■PHP Version 4.3.0 or above
■MySQL 3.23 or above
■Either GD, GD2, or Netpbm for the image upload and resize functions

3) My site needs to link to PayPal to take payments, is this just a process of linking to my existing PayPal account?

I am a regular user of Dreamweaver. Is there anything else I would need to get the site up and running?

Let me answer your questions.

1. We include installation so you would just to purchase the hosted edition.

2. Yes it supports everything required.

3. Yes just insert your paypal email and setup ipn.

One last thing - the monthly payment of $39.99, how is it taken?
Do I give you a credit card number that is debited automatically each month?

Yes it is automatically drafted each month.

We use Paypal subscriptions so it would come from a card associated with your paypal account.

I'm considering having a sliding scale for charging customers, depending on the value of their item.

e.g.
�1 - �99 = �0.50
�100 - �999 = �1
�1,000 - �9,999 = �5
�10,000 - �99,999 =�10
�100,000 or over = �50

Can this be set up in the Hosted package?

You could just describe your packages like this or use categories for pricing.

I have a domain in mind that is available - do I register it through you guys as part of the Hosted package?

also

Is there a minimum sign up period for the monthly Hosted package - in other words what happens if I decide to pull the site in 6 months? (hopefully this won't be the case!)

We have you register the domain for yourself that way you own it and it is in your account.

There is no minimum other than the first month and you can cancel at any time.
