A lot of Pre sales questions

Hi,
After searching the web for quite sometimes. I'm interested in 68classifieds.
But I'm still not sure it will meet my needs.
1. Is every text in frontend translatable also Does it fully support UTF-8 character set?
2. If I want to sell banner ads on my front page or may be google ads how do I put them?
I only have basic skill of HTML and a little knowledge of CSS
also which edition do I have to purchase in order to do that.
3. About featured listings, I'm not sure if I understand this correctly.
when customer chooses to purchase featured listings, an ad will be displayed on the top of the category page(just like sticky topic in the forum)
also it wll be displayed on the front page automaticly?
If I want to sell front page featured listing and category-featured listing separately will this be possible?

Let me try and answer your questions:

Yes to make it fully utf-8 you will need to make this change:

You would just edit the template file and add in the javascript they supply. It is as simple as copy and pasting.

3. About featured listings, I'm not sure if I understand this correctly.

This is really dependant on how you want it set up. By default they are rotated on the home page and appear first in searches. This can be over ridden though with resorting the listings or from the administration.

Currently we offer three extra promotions. Bold, Featured, and Highlighted. So you could use the featured for home page and highlighted or bold for the category only option. The actual way it is displayed is in the style sheet.

Can I choose how many featured listing will be displayed on the homepage from the admistration area
and can I choose not to rotate the featured listing?
Do I have to modify the php code?
I couldn't find these settings in the administration.

The featured listings on the home page is loaded from a plugin. You can change the number from the template itself. The code looks like this:
{featured_listings number=8 cols=2 rows=2 etc...} So you would just change the number 8 to what you prefer.

If you want to order them differently then you would need to edit the plugin but if you are uncomfortable editing php you can ask here on the forums and we will be glad to give you a push in the right direction.
