Can the software do this

I would like a page similar to southeasttexas.com. Could it be placed in a blog or in a website?

If you mean have a full site, seperate to a classifieds site? Then yes, put 68classifieds in a folder (ie. yourdomain.com/classifieds) and your other site can just be in the root directory with a link to the classifeds section.

Thanks bowers01 for the quick reply. One thing I didn't make clear was, is a drop-down menu available like the one in the classified section on southeasttexas.com.....

I live on a lake and would like a place for people to sell their camps, boats, etc. as well as get updates on fishing among other things.

The dropdown here 68 Classifieds can be put on the front page, and also the other things can be removed if you like.
Well you could do this in 4.09 so can someone please confirm this.

Yes you can do that. It may take the developer edition since you would want to copy the search.php file and use it for the index.

We actually have a module to allow search to be carried out anywhere on the classifieds site (in the layout), on the home page, on empty search results, etc. You just place it where you wish to to appear and style it as you wish.
