I just had a look and I think it was the date causing that.
I adjusted the coupon to expire on 9/30 and gave it another test and worked fine. Can you try it one more time? Sorry about all this.

Oops. Yes, my mistake. Doing things too quickly. It worked this time.
BUT... the behaviour I was describing is still evident on that version... to clarify: If a coupon is specified for registered users only, then administrators can still use it... with the exception that the discount is not applied on the front end of the site... but it does show up in administration as having been used and the total number of that coupon available is decremented. Does that make sense?

Ahh I get it now.
 Sorry. That is indeed a bug and I will need to get a fix out. Just to confirm: When a coupon is assigned to "registered users" but you place an ad as an administrator then the coupon is added to the order and deducted but it doesn't apply the discount to the order. So basically it needs to say coupon invalid where now it isn't doing that.

Got it and made a change here:
http://www.68classifieds.com/cvs/v4.0/administration/ Of course I just released v4.0.9 today so this will have to come out in the next release.
