Question Designer vs Developer Clarifications Please :)

I just want to make sure I fully understand what I can and cannot do with the Designer license before I make my purchase.

As I understand it, with the Designer license, I can make changes to pages, like add text, HTML, javascript, etc (Google Ads being the biggest reason for the javascript concern).

Is there a CSS file that I can make changes to if I want to change fonts, colors, etc?

Am I correct that the Developer license is for those who want to make changes in how the system works or to add functions that aren't there?

It sounds like the Designer license will provide me with all the things I need to customize the way I want. Just want to clarify these things.

Thank you!

Yep the software is made up of underlying php scripts which send info to smarty template (think of them as the html pages). These smarty templates combined with style sheets make up the majority of how the site looks and feels and with the designer edition you have full access to all of these.

The developer edition gives you access to the underlying PHP scripts.

Thank you Larry.

So the only reason I would need the Developer package is if I wanted to change functions...the underlying php code itself.

Sounds good.
