Hosted Package

Hi,

I am looking to buy your package within the next day or so but have a few questions regarding the hosted package.

With the hosted package do you have to add the Developers Edition and Hosted package to your shopping basket or does the $29.99 per month include the software and hosting?

Is there a minimum contract term for the hosted package? If there is, once the minimum term has passed I am free to move the software to another hosting company without incurring any additional costs?

Please note that I'm not an employee of 68 Classifieds. But I do believe I can answer your question.

If you purchase the hosted edition, you do not have to purchase anything else. From what it appears, there is no minimum months you have to pay, to use the hosted edition. It looks like its a per month basis.

If you move hosting companies you will not be able to transfer the software from the hosted package to your new host. You will need to purchase the developer or designer edition when you move to a new host.

Thanks for the prompt response. As long as the hosting is up to scratch I don't see any reason why I would move the site but just thought I check first.

I have yet to hear anything bad about the hosted version. From what I've read on the forums there are a lot of people who use it.

All signed up and raring to go. Did get an error message though when I clicked return to merchant from PayPal.
