I am wanting to create a classifieds site allowing auto dealers to subscribe. I want to link a search of ther vehicles into a frame on their website....is this capable with your software?

There is a built in RSS feed file (external.php).

since you can't search for items by user name, how will it allow you to do an rss feed into a seperate site?

If you want to show just a particular users listings then you can use the owner parameter.
http://www.yoursite.com/external.php?owner=4

Where 4 is the users unique id.
