Content management software is its own animal and has nothing to do with classifieds and forums. A CMS is designed to allow a person, or multiple people to easily add data to a website without having to know anything about html/css etc. They log into a back end type their little news story in a wysiwig interface and it becomes a part of the site. Thats what a CMS is designed to do.

Now things get a bit more complicated when people want to add functionality to their CMS based website. They want to have calenders, classifieds, forums etc. The integration of these additional scripts varies from CMS to CMS and weather or not you even need a CMS depends on your goals.

68c is a classified software script. It is not made to be out of the box "installable" into a CMS, its a stand alone product. The makers of 68C howeer have created "modules" that you can purchase to allow your classifieds and forums software (phpbb/VB) to share user information so a single login will work for both the forum and classifieds.

On top of that, 68c has the ability for administrators to go in and add static pages to their site, much like a CMS.

Now, having said all that, do you need a cms? Im not sure you didnt give us enoiugh info. The link you posted however isnt using one as far as I can tell. They are using 68C and have added some static pages and then are using the phpbb user share for their forums.

I own and operate IndianaPC.org. The entire site is run from 68 Classifieds except for the forums which is phpBB. I use the phpBB Usershare mod available for purchase from 68C to share the user base information between the two and I put the forum within a i-frame.

This is NOT a CMS system! This is 68c Version 3.1.10 with some modifications (developers version).

I also am available to do custom modifications to your 68C site.
