Default Banner Advertising / management

Hey All

I like the demo and the features of 68classifieds... but need to learn one important thing before jumping in.

I need to be able to manage banner subscriptions and advertising on the site - and am wondering if there is an add in module that allows me to manage and charge for these easily.

Any thoughts greatly appreciated

Cheers

Karl

No there isn't a module for Banner Advertising within 68 Classifieds. I highly recommend finding a script that does this outside of your classifieds script. There are many that you can select from. I recommend using hotscripts.com to find a banner program.

I wouldn't base your buying decision on if the classifieds script has a banner mod, since this is easily done with the hundreds of banner/advertising management scripts for free and for sale.

I know Maffo has or had an ad manager, I've seen others use openads, and I actually just came across this one the other day. http://www.adpeeps.com/howto-68.html

Maffo has/had a banner manager.

The normal module that I had for sale has been withdrawn. Too many headaches and difficult to install for the majority of clients. The ones who took my advice and had me install it are perfectly satisfied, go figure? So yes thats gone.

My super mod system includes a great banner system, completely dynamic, allowing for banners to be managed via the multisite module, sub-site, by page, by category, even by country/state/city. If you are looking at setting up a site for free ads, but want to charge for banner adverts, take a look at the system in my signature.
