Looking for a classifieds app, and yours looks dandy
Just have a question about what happens after 6 months:68 Developer includes: Lifetime use of 68 Classifieds Six months of free upgrades Six months of free support 99% access to 68 Classifieds source code. Two files encrypted. So, 6 months is up, and version 4.1 comes out with an event calendar and the option for power sellers to create custom stores with items that don't expire, I'm all like 'WTF, I WANT THAT!', what's it going to cost me to extend my licence? |

After the first six months its $29.95 for an additional 6 months support and upgrades.
Im just guessing here but it seems to me 68C developers are trying to move large/complex features out of the base code and into modules. I think an event calendar or power seller store would probably fall into that realm. With that being said they would probably be released to the public either as fee based add ons or for free.

It currently costs $29.99 to extend your updates and support contract and it is not required. Only required to get new releases.

If it was you could expect more bugs and a zero (or 2) to be added on to the price tag.

Honestly we do not have a set time when we release updates or new versions. It all comes down to when bugs are found. Plus not all renewal periods expire at the same time so we can't plan a release after everyone's expires.

Hahaha, the way some people think. Whether you buy the system or not Kenmour, your insults have me laugh
In all serious, if you are thinking $29usd is too much to ask for grade A support, you should maybe have a good look round at other packages. I have no doubts you will not find a better system for the price or support for that matter.

Whoa! settle down ladies
One thinks thou doth protest too much! At least Maffo took it the way it was intended!Seriously though, only thing I have to compare this to is vbulletin, which is the only script I've even paid for. That only cost me $160 and $30 A YEAR for updates/support. We all know that's one huge ass professional script (I assume because you're using it ). So for something that seems 'small and flaccid' in comparison (don't all get size envy, it's just an observation) to vbulletin, I personally thought it was a pricey. But hey, I run and support not for profit associations (which is what I'm looking for a classifieds script for) so price becomes much more of a deciding factor. But I'll take up your challenge to find a better system for under $200, with at least equivalent support! (don't go throwing challenges out there if you don't want them met! )

Vbulletin sells by the thousands and cant be compared to this script.
When you find the $200 system thats better than this one, let me know, I will pack my bags and join you. Its like when my parents promised me a trip to disneyland each year as a child. My bags were always packed and I never went anywhere. As I grew older I came to the conclusion that I was never going to go to Disneyland and left me heartbroken. I hope you are not going to leave me heartbroken kenour!!
