How much control would i have?

I am just curious as to how much control i will have available over the ads posted... I included a list of classifieds features that my primary competition now runs, how close will i be able to match as far as feature vs. feature goes? Can i control the number of ads posted per section, per day, per user (keeping them from spamming)? I am just asking because I am really teter tottering on whether or not to purchase the program. I would just like to know how close I will be able to compete with various options, and whether it will worth my time and money. Also, I would like to know how the storefront options work. I would like to offer the ability to have a link on the primary page, which would be used to house a jumppage to their website. I would also like to include the storefront with this option. Can this be accomplished?

I did post this a few days back, but did not receive an answer as of yet...

Currently there is no preset way to control how many are placed per day, but with some php experience and the developer version this could be done.

You can control how many photos per ad but these will link to the larger image or the listing itself depending on where they are accessed.

There is a built in field for links to websites.

This script either displays a thumbnail of 1 of the images or a no-photo image. You can easily change either of these in the templates.

I think some have used the wysigi type of input but I haven't felt the need myself.

This script is security tested so spam shouldn't be a problem.

These are default fields for the listing and are the same information used at registration so there is no need to re-enter this information for each ad.

Expired ads are deleted after 72 hours but this is changeable. You can easily activate/deactivate listings.

We have a store module that is in its final testing, which will make the store information much more useful, will post something about the features today or tomorrow.

Juven, thank you very much for your detailed reply. I will try to let all this sink in over night and I will post again tomorrow what I may not have completely understood. Also, the details on the storefront would be greatly appreciated. Again, thank you for taking the time to answer my questions.

Everything you want to do can be acclompished with a little bit of time and patience. I would also look into what you can offer your market that your competitors dont, something original.

Thanks Maffo, I am definitely thinking of something original i will be able to offer that my competitor hasn't yet. On a sidenote, I understand you must be tired of being asked the same question over and over, but how's the progress on that mod for banner ads?
