Question A few presale questions

First I must say I really like what you have here with the 68C script. I started using a different php script to manage my banner ads on my site so I knew if I wanted to get into classifieds it was definitely the way to go. I have a few questions before I make my purchase.

My site targets a niche market, people eligible to use U.S. Military Space Available Travel. Since I have people (advertisers) that don't necessarily want to go as far as paying for a banner ($30 a month) but would do a classified ad (I'm thinking $5 a month and a few dollars extra for each enhancements). My question is I would like to run two different classifieds, one targeted to my space-a web site and one for my local metro area.

I like the Maffo's Super Mod but wonder if I am going to buy V. 4 is there a projected time frame that it will be released?

Finally what are the best recommendations for templates? I use dreamweaver cs3.

I'm sure I'll have other questions but had to start somewhere. Really glad that I found 68C first! Look forward to any insight. Thanks in advance.

Hi Dirk and thanks for your interest.

I can't really comment on Maffo's super mod as he would be the only one with any information on it.

As for the templates you can use any text editor, dreamweaver, etc. The only thing to watch for is the image paths and any unnecessary code inserted from the wysiwyg editor.

You can run two separate installs on the same domain so this would work.

Hopefully I answered your questions but if not let me know.

It will be some time until an official package is out for a v4 super mod. I have currently withdrawn v3 also whilst I tidy up some code and adda couple of features.

Suzkaw & Maffo,

Thanks. So if I am going to want to do the mod after it is finished I guess it would be best to use the 4.0 developer version then.

I could get the designer now and upgrade to the developer later after I get my check from Mr. Bush in may right?

Thanks!

Dirk

Dirk,

Yes you can upgrade later. Keep in mind that upgrading from Designer to Developer now costs $125. Designer to Developer Price Increase
