Developer Help- Any suggested names/comapanies

Hi...I am looking to implement several 68 web sites..but need help on the design and implementation. Does anyone have any suggestions of individuals or comapanies that can help? I did correspond with one company, and was totally shocked at the suggestion it would take $4,000 to implement a web site using 68classifieds.

Design and implementation is a pretty vague request. It could be anywhere from installing and some color changes to default templates to install and complete template rewrites combined with a lot of custom features added.

I cant say if $4000 seems like a lot or not without having any idea of what it is you want to do. In the end, time is money and making changes takes time and therefore costs money.

68C, like any script should be able to be handled by anyone with the proper knowledge BUT using someone not familiar with the 68C layout may take a lot more time than someone who is.

Totally agree with this.

If you have need something quick or custom, better to stick with one of the 68-recommended designers. They will most likely get it done in the amount of time it would take to get a ballpark quote from someone not intimately familiar with 68C. You might pay a little more per hour, but it should take fewer hours to get it done.

If, on the other hand, you are looking to have someone design a fully custom site from the ground up, the short learning curve would be just a fraction of your total budget.

Well the short list of devleopers listed on the 68list is very short. Anyone have a contacts for simple modifications (colors, fonts, simple menu items,etc).
