Hi there,

68 Classifieds looks to be able to do most of the things that I want.

Please can you let me know whether it is possible to change in the sign up process and also when posting an ad the address settings so in the UK we would not want State but County and not Zip Code but Postcode. Also then when using the search feature you could search on the UK postcode or county?

Also could you just confirm:
1. Can you enable it so people have to pay to signup?
2. Can you enable it so that visitors can not view any ads until they have subscribed/become a member?
3. Allow a currency change from $ to �.

Hi Claire,

Changing the wording is as simple as editing the launguage file, so you can change state>county, zip>postcode etc. You can also edit the list of counties/countries etc. to suit your needs (i'm running a UK site)

It seems the rest is for a pay-per registration option?? I'm not sure that's possible, you can charge for placing ads but i'm not sure you can charge just to sign-up.

There may be a workaround with the membership package feature so wait for an official response

Is it possible to change the options there are when users are posting an ad and also to change it so that a photo is not a requirement and therefore it does not display the photo not there image?

Yes you can define different listing packages and when creating the packages you can setup images, etc.

There is no such option as far as I understand however it very easy work around. Don�t show the sing up form page to anybody. Remove all links to this page. Protect it from indexing in SE by using meta tags or robots.txt file. Than only after payment has been processed forward you customers to your sing up form page.

Yes, this option is available go to Manage Members / User Groups and make custom settings.

When I go into the test site and chnage the settings in user groups so that Guests can not view the site, I still seem to be able to view the example site and view the site. Am I doing anything wrong here?

I need a site setup so that if you are not signed in (and have not paid to sign up) that you can not view the ads placed. Is this possible?

Claire,

Keep in mind if you make a change a user group you will need to either sign in as a member of this group or logout to be a guest.
