licensing

Hi, how does the licensing work? Do you have to purchase a copy per domain or can you have more than one domain name?

Also, not to be morbid, but what if the licensor should depart this earth unexpectedly? How would the 2 encrypted files behave if the licensor's server stopped functioning?

I'm concerned that I am giving up some control of my sites destiny.

Our license agreement allows one copy on one domain. To run it on another domain you would need a second license which if purchased within 3 months of the first would be at a discount.

We are a small business with two full time employees. I would really hope nothing morbid happens to both of us at the same time. Also in the case 68 Classifieds is ever stopped we would release the whole script and you let you use it how you wish.

Can you elaborate more on the 2 encrypted files? What would happen if the 2 encrypted files could not make contact with the server that handles the licensing?

The two encoded files handle the actual licensing and they must be able to communicate with our server. The script only checks once every thirty days. This limits the chance that our server is down when it performs the check.

Also if for some reason it can't connect then you may get a license key error but this will only be seen by administrators and your site will continue working as normal. This way your customers see no interruption.

I assume the administrator would see it when trying to login to the admin console? Also, I assume they would be prohibited from logging into the admin console.
