Faq, Statics pages, an so on...

Hello,

I'm quite sure to buy your tool, but I've some questions :
- How does work the FAQ feature ? I didn't see Anything in the demo ?
- Is it possible to add static pages from the back office (Static page is a page like 'news', or 'how to do', or 'affiliation', eo...etc.... Or is there a way to add links in the template directly from the back office ?
- As a buyer of developper version, and as some files are encrypted, is it possible to add some dynamic links in the footer (List of the cat�gories). I'm ok with php, but I d'ont know exactly what is encrypted.
- Last, isn't there any feature to export datas from admin ? Phpmyadmin is nice, but, from the admin, it should be easier.
- When adding new fields, is it possible to see them in the internal search engine of the site, as criterias ?

I will answer your questions below:

It is just basically a static page that you can format any way you wish. This way you have the flexibility to format the page how you wish.

- Is it possible to add static pages from the back office

Through the same page editor you can create new pages that can be edited from the administration or if you have the developer edition you can manually create new pages.

Yes with the developer edition only a portion of the administration is encrypted to you can edit the frontend site any way you wish.

There is a database backup that will dump the database to a sql file but I normally find it easier to go through phpmyadmin.

- When adding new fields, is it possible to see them in the internal search engine of the site, as criterias ?

Yes you can define new fields as searchable which would make them display on the search page. Each field is binded to a category so you do have to select the category first then any extra fields will display.

One last question before ordering : Th eprocess to add an announce is quite long and tedious.

Is it easy to modify it ?
What I would like is at a minimum to be able to place an add imm�diatly after creating an account, without having to wait receiving mail, confirm and so on. From my exp�rience I know that will occur lot of 'go away' comportment.

And, can I modify easily the whole process, to have on one page all the informations to place an add : Personnal information and add information ?

When I say easily, of course, that means modifying the PHP code, not (I think ?) directly from the admin.

The way it is setup is that they must have an account before they can place a listing. Some things you can do is disable the email the confirmation then as soon as they register they can place a listing.

If you are wanting to add registration as part of the place a listing then it will be very complex and require a lot of php coding. So they only way to do that would be to purchase the developer edition and be knowledgeable in php and mysql. Of course you could always hire someone to create this for you. You may want to start a new post asking for price quotes from some of our developers.

Currently we are too busy to take on any development work but if you are fluent in php then I am sure you can dig in and add it. Although we can't take on custom work you can always ask for help here on the forums and we will do our best to try and help. Of course we wouldn't be able to just do it for you.
