Is it possible to create Phone Directory Listings like the yellow pages have? Can it be sorted by city, state, zip code, country and by bussiness catergory. Listing view should look like a visiting card style with the Business Name, Owner Name, Address, Phone number, email (details links at the bottom or add some other links right next to it). And in details section, should display all the information with the map and directions from yahoo or google. Is this something may be possible with this software? Please let me know asap. Thx.

A very comprehensive 'Business Directory' module is presently being developed as a 'module' for the 68 Classifieds script.
It's feature list contains all you have requested plus lots more: eg: additional features - Each business has their own 'Business Profile' pages including the ability to add their own news, customer testimonies, products/brands available, agencies and their own catalogue' of products with their own unique category structure. There is also a 'downloadable files' section (price lists, specifications, PDF brochures, etc). Plus more..... If you email au-mods @ auscity.com (no spaces) with the words 'Business Profiles' in the subject of the email, we can email you when it is released (hopefully by end of August).

Very cool, cant wait to see this.
I have adapted 68 to run as a directory but certainly not as a plugin. Top draw stuff.

Thanks for asking, sleepy.
End of August is still the ETA date. Prior to that though, another 'related' module will be released. This other one was born out of the work we have put into the Business Directory. Sorry for the delays but they just can't be helped. We also needed to wait for the release of v3.1.5 and as you know, that was released today.

Yes two modules - one being the business directory.
The other is a different module that includes code from part of the business directory - that being an advanced feature packed 'store' that businesses will be most happy to use. 'bstore' will allow a business/seller to have all there listings available both within there bstore and out in the classifieds area as well. bstore will allow the owner to also create their own categories for use within there own bstore. Therefore, if a listing in the main classifieds area was Motor Vehicles > Ford > Sedans > MyListing, then in their bstore, they could also have that listing under their own category. eg: Cars > MyListing. the bstore owner can set up any number of categories and sub categories they wish to have all their listings available within the bstore. Very similar to eBay in the way that stores can set up their own categories for use in the store itself as well as there listings also being available in the main part of the site under search, browse categories, top listings, etc. There are also a number of other gutsy features we will be able to disclose soon.
