Wink php test for ioncube?

Do you have a test.php file that can be placed on a server to test system/server requirements? Might be a good idea to write one for prospective buyers.

You can read this thread for testing ioncube loaders:

Ioncube Loaders

Also, you can get the settings of your server setup by creating a PHP file with this in the body:

PHP Code:
<?php
phpinfo
();
?>
Additionally, server information can be obtained by the hosting company and/or the server admin.

As for the requirements, they can be found here:

I'm not totally sure everything is covered here, but I'll leave that up to the staff to address.

Oh, I'm not asking for myself, I already know what my server has installed and such but thought it might be helpful for non-programmers to be able to just download a single file, upload it to their host and open it to see YES or NO if it would work.

Im not sure if it would be this easy. Ioncube has scripts to help identify the loader needed and it tries to test the loader. In order to do this though it needs all the loaders, about 8 meg I beleive so many people probably wouldnt go through the trouble.

There are also many variables from host to host. Some have loaders loading already in php.ini. Some dont but allow people to use their own php.ini to load the loaders etc. Even among people who are willing to read the ioncube docs many simply dont understand how paths work on a web server so invariable need a little guidance in getting the path to their loaders setup right in the php.ini anyways.

In the end, most web hosts, are generally pretty helpfull in this regard and if told where the current ioncube loaders are in a customers web space they usually dont have any problem setting up a php.ini for the customer so the loaders are loaded.
