Also you may want to try and replace it totally with the one on this documentation page:

It is there for a reason just don't remember why.

Hi!

Thank you Eric. I modified the function and it seems to work perfect.

There�s one remaining issue - and I promise to write down the process that lead to success if you can help me here

:

If I use a special char in the title, the char is correctly stored in the database and the title is correctly printed out - but the URL ist still broken (H%E3he instead of Hoehe) - if I replace it manualy in the URL e.g. "�" -> "oe" it�s working perfect - so the function is correct.
