Maffo Modules to be REMOVED from shop

Ok maybe it should be on search type 2 as it looks just like the default search, except the location is using ajax dropdown.

There is a lot more to making a plugin module than there is just installing a hack that will do the same thing. You have documentation, admin pages, templates etc etc etc. If you spend 40 hours making a module, sell it for $50 and sell 4 copies, thats $200 for 40 hours of work or about $5 an hour. Its hardly worth anyones time. And that doesnt even include the support time you answering questions and supporting the product.

The only modules really worth producing are those that cater to the largest audience, if its only a couple people who want a certain functionality its not worth the effort to create a module.

@ Nick Bowers, Its set at type one which pulls the extra fields upon selection of a category rather than the type 2 drilldown system. Anyhows, I will bringing down that part of the demo site as it will be surplus to requirements.

@ Larry, spot on, you got it in one.

@ Ombre, only the v3.1 modules will be half price and that is from October 1st.

v4 mods are available until the close of play at the end of september, then they will only be available as part of the super mod v4 system. If you require them, I suggest you make a purchase ASAP. You would also get the sum total of those three modules as a discount off the Super Mod System should you wish to purchase it at a later date.

on my paypal account is not enough money to buy the 3 modules now for this price and i will have the money for the 3 modules on 2 October :-(. What can we do ? I'm not kidding ....

Kudos to Maffo! I'm looking forward to exploring the Supermod V4. At this point he will only have to support one mod and not multiples. If you are truly running a classified ad as a business than this is a small price to pay. The same applies to the 68Classified script. It is an amazing value for what you get and the support is excellent.

You don't need all the mods up and running to start your classified ads page. People fall in love with the idea of running a classified site and want to make it perfect before they launch it. I mean who cares if you have a google maps mod, a total site counter, a news mod, etc when you have only 2 ads on your page. Marketing efforts are the most valuable, but also the hardest to realize. It's always easy to blame the lack of one function or another for not launching ones site.

I'd say launch and market your site right away. Once you get some ad revenue paying a few hundred bucks for additional mods is no big deal.
