Just finished a modification that allows a user to signup as a dealer or private seller. It also allow usersubtype which means the user can select what kind of provider they are. Dealer, Merchandiser, Bar/Restaurant, repairs etc. Whatever you choose

This is not a modification that uses extra fields or anything like that. Its pretty intensive.

Comes with a yellow pages type directory that allows people to search for a dealer or service provider based on a number of things, including zip code, area code state, type of provider. It also has sorting based on name state etc.

Just checking to see if there is any interest. Let me know.

I have limited time, but I can whip up a how to and get you going in a small amount of time. Requires developer version.

Very simple to implement now that the hard work is done.

I may charge a small fee for the info, havent decided yet. If I do, it wont be much, since I had to make it any ways.

I would propose you submit your mods through Classifiedmods.com . This is the process that we all follow and for good reason.

i have my own similar thing to this but very interested in buying it if it has new features, i can not search for dealers with mine so that would be good.
Just one thing to check can you see if the seller is a dealer or private on showlistings and viewlistings pages?

Yes, the info is passed along with all user queries.

My system is similar to yours, just a little more extensive.
