Completed PM and hide email from viewmember.php and more

1. It is very important for the users to be able to send personal messages from the viewmember page. A simple button like "Send PM" or something like that will get the job done. - (Completed ELB)
2. I was surprised to find I can`t hide the e-mail addresses of my users just from the guests. I am forced to hide or show the e-mails to all of the groups. (Completed ELB)
3. The captcha is weak! I already get spam from my contact page which is supposedly protected. I guess my future users will also get spam through the contactowner field in viewlisting.php. Currently I am forced to disable that function for the guests because the users will run away if they get spam through my web site. (Completed ELB)
4. 68 Classifieds is a commercial script. We paid for it and we, the buyers, expect to make profit not only from paid ads but also from classic advertisement like banners. There is no built in support about that.

Hi,

1. This can be done but would currently take the developer edition.

2. This can be done but would have to edit the member.tpl file. Find:
{if $uDisEmail=="Y"}
Then replace with:
{if $uDisEmail=="Y" && $smarty.session.userlevel < 5}

3. A captcha is just a deterrent and all a user has to do is fill in the text shown. Spam is a plague and that is why we added both the captcha and the pm system.

4. You are correct. There are lots and lots of scripts designed just for banner ads and that is why we do not include one. Here are a few I have heard great things about:
openads
google admanager
adpeeps
etc..

Once you have one setup all you have to do is include the javascript in the page where you want the banner to be shown.

Captcha is irrelevant here, spambots can submit captha="N" instead of "Y" in contact form and it will be bypassed. Yes, it's a bug. Just look at contact.php:
