Default Users Uploading More pics Than Allowed

Noticed a small problem, hopefully someone knows how to stop it.

While editing images, if you upload an image and hit refresh, it will upload the image again, even if the max uploaded images have been reached.

I have a package that allows 2 images to be uploaded, but if a user hits refresh they can potentially upload the last image unlimited number of times.

Is there any way to keep this from happening?

The only way I can think of changing this would be to use an immediary page. Basically after the post instead of displaying the same page again go to the forward.tpl then back to the form.

Eric, how about adding something to thanks.php or to the function that changes the order status(or to a new function altogether) so that it checks the package details and makes the ad posted conform to those details as part of the final order process.

So basically as a last check before the ad/order state is changed it checks the package and lets say the package says 1000 description chars and 6 images but the user cheated, and cut/pasted and refreshed their way around the limits and put in 10 pics. Have this function reread the description, truncate to 1000 chars and check images and run the image delete function on any over the package specified max.

Seems like it would be a bit cleaner of a user experience.

Very interesting idea Larry. I do know that the characters are server side checked now but the images could be bypassed as mentioned.

I could see that working though.

The way I see it, if they are going to cheat, let em waste their time uploading extra pics only to have them removed

I went ahead and moved this to the feature requests forum so I don't loose it.
