What are you actually trying to do? If you disable price it will not show but the consequence is that you will lose the ability to sort and search on price - doesn't seem smart for a car site but you may have different intentions.

You will also need to get the extrafields to show in the showlistings and manage the plugins accordingly for featured ads etc. I don't think you have thought this through. 68C is not a dual currency system. We have been through this loop on the forum before with somebody who wanted a U.K./U.S system. And with that one there were big issues over advertisers as well (currencies that pay in - checkout and supply chain - shipping questions). The only way is to have two separate systems or use one currency in a standard system but place a currency converto alongside (you can even do the math for them if you want to update it regualrly).

what i've done is i hid the price option and added a custom field to asking the price with your local currency, so far its ok, but when i tried listing a featured listing it shows the image and the title under it then the price as Zero, so i wanted to hide the price from the featured images listings

The link I posted above shows you how to alter th plugin so it doesnt display the price.

yes i've tried that disabled the price from the setting and the groups but its still showing

did you try clearing the contents of your cache after making changes? (ie /templates_c)

yep, deleted all files in it,
what've done is i went to the setting => checkout setting and disabled the price
then went to groups and inside each group i hid the price field
then cleared the cache
then reloaded the website
is that correct?

No thats not correct. Did you read the info at the link above that I posted?

the price is being displayed on your main page by a plugin. Plugins are standalone and do not follow the rules set forth by admin so if you want to change the way they behave you have to do it where the plugin is invoked.....as outlined in the link I provided above.
