What version of the software are you using? That would certainly help in a situation like this.

That version has known bugs, its recommended you upgrade to fix your problem.

I can't really say that I know what the problem is, however if your site was working fine before and you upgraded your server software and now there is a problem that would most likely an issue with what was updated on the server and not the 68 Classifieds software.
I can't say what is on line 9 of the encrypted init.php file. Since this is happening only when logging into the admin, then this would be the administration/includes/init.php which is encrypted for all versions. Just trying to run down the things that you have listed in your post: Upgraded to PHP5 shouldn't be any issue as I know that it runs 68 just fine (I'm running a 3.1.10 on a php5 server). There is no such thing as Apache 5, I assume you mean the latest version which would be 2.2.11 which again shouldn't be an issue. Did you check to see if you indeed actually have your params.php in your administration/includes directory? I would check and even if it is there, make sure it's not corrupted. Try replacing it. If you are indeed running 68 Classifieds version 4.0.1 as you posted, you really should pay the fee to renew your support/update license as that version has both bugs and security issues if my memory serves me correctly. The latest version of 4.0.x version is 4.0.9!

Nothing of all what you describe... I've upgraded on version 4.1.2 and I have the same error.
Apache 2.2.1. and PHP 5 are perfectly configured and working with no problems... all other applications that I've installed on this server works fine. PLEASE NOTE: THE PROBLEM WILL APPEAR ONLY AFTER I'VE LOGGED IN TO THE ADMINISTRATION AREA! I think that here is a bug on the ./administration directory configuration file that are ionCube encoded and that I cannot edit to correct the problem. Output of PHP says that he cannot open the required file 'includes/params.php'. The file is present under /home/cercati/public_html/annunci/administration/includes/params.php and not only under /includes/params.php The init.php file can be that call only a relative path "/includes/params.php" under the server root and not under the http root. I think that the file ./administration/includes/init.php calls a relative path and not the required full path of my server. I've read a lot of tutorials and support forums about this problem and all says that here are two reasons: 1) The required file is missing (no: the file is correctly placed) 2) The called path of the file on a configuration php file is incorrectly defined (yes: I think that is so, but I cannot edit the init.php file while this is encoded with ionCube!!!) It's here a programmer that can edit this init.php file and insert the full path of this called required file? MY SERVER IS: Linux CentOS 5.3 - Apache 2.2.1 - MySQL 5.0.67 - PHP 5.2.9 Thank you. FOR YOUR INFORMATION:
I've try out to make a fully new installation and this is the result by step6 by ending the installation procedure: Quote:
- I've cheched that the files mentioned on the warnings are present and not corrupted; - I've cheched that the permission on these files are correctly set. THEN, WHEN I TRY TO ACCESS THE NEW ADMINISTRATION AREA, THIS IS THE RESULT: Quote:
Do you have any other idea? THE SERVER LAMP versions cannot been modified. I think that these are enought updated (new) and experienced (stable). I have a lot of other applications installed on it and only 68Classifieds give me problems! |

Do you mean the problem you brought up over a a year ago? Assuming you just purchased 68C at that time and had support, why didnt you submit a support ticket and get it fixed then?

You say that you have now installed the latest version of 68 Classifieds V4.1.2. How did you do that as you stated that you didn't want to pay the small amount of money for the support/update license? So if you have updated to the latest version, then I would recommend that you submit an official support ticket for this issue. You can do easily from here.

Can you submit a ticket with your ftp details, administration login, and a link to your site and we will see if we can get this sorted out for you.
