Default 3 Sites - One Lot Of Ads - Different Theme Per Site

As the title states i want three sites with the same ads but a different theme.
eg.
1. Truck.com.au - Truck Theme
2. Machinery.com.au - Machinery Theme
3. Truckandmachinery.com.au - Both Merged together

Is this going to be possible easily? or am i going to have to make it copy the ad to multiple databases(One for each site)?
If i need to make it copy the ads to multiple databases does anyone want to code it?
Cheers,
Nick

I have done similar stuff like this in the past. What I did was use the same database connection but it had to be hosted on the same server.

Next you would need to edit some internal files to call out the different template set.

Hi,
How do you get around the fact that in the database you set the site URL, all links would point to what is set there?
Cheers

Do all the sites have the same categories, ad packages and extra fields?

If that is the only variable preventing you, just open includes/classes/kernel/Core.php and find (note these are not right next to each other):
PHP Code:
define("URL"$url);
define("URLS"$urls);
And then replace the variable with a hard coded one:

PHP Code:
define("URL"'http://www.mysite.com');
define("URLS"'https://www.mysite.com');

Hi,
Larry, the sites will be exactly the same, just a different template.

Thanks,
Nick

Hi,
I now have developer and thinking about doing this. Would i need to buy a copy of 68c for every site? even if it comes from the one database? if i do it will cost a fortune and probably wouldnt be worth it.
Nick

Hi,
i tried to do this for testing purposes. I did what john said and upload exactly the same files to the second domain. But when viewing it i got a blank page for everything i went to. Is there soemthing else i need to change?
I would like it to just pull the listing pictures form the main domain, but make it look like its a different site.
Cheers,
Nick
